The winners of the first “Fasle Royesh” festival have been announced

Maryam Lotfi with her story “Companion,” Raha Bagheri Motlagh with “Endless,” and Fatemeh Helma Rastegaran with “Dear Maryam” claimed first place in the festival.

Additionally, Maryam Rafiei with her story “Pause, Light, and Glasses,” Nora Barzegar with “Chirophobia,” and Aidin Safavi with “47 Chromosomes” won second place.

Shiva Kazemi with her story “Chimpanzee’s Scream,” Ebrahim Ghaedi with “Sara, Saman, and Military Service,” Hanieh Tajrishi with “The Meter,” along with Fatemeh Sar-Mashqei (a writer of children’s and adolescent literature) with “Hopeful Eyes Photos,” Zahra Eghbali with “Grandma’s Crystal Jar,” and Zahra Abkar with “The Keepsake” earned third place.

In the final statement of the first “Season of Growth” festival, which launched its call for submissions during this summer for teenagers interested in writing, it was noted: 70 works were received after two rounds of public calls. These included 33 stories, 9 essays, 8 memoir-stories, 3 poems, 9 children’s stories, and 1 children’s poem. Among these, 12 pieces were selected as top entries based on structure, theme, character development, innovation, and creativity.

The quarterly magazine “Season of Growth,” focusing on diverse topics in formats such as stories, essays, memoirs, poems, etc., held its first nationwide festival during the summer. Submissions came from across the country. The magazine, led by editor-in-chief and secretary Manijeh Pedrami and board chairman Yahya Mansour Movahed, celebrated its first anniversary by hosting the inaugural festival yesterday at the Nikoo International Complex.

Morteza Mojadfar, Javad Mohaqeq, Ebrahim Aslani, Mahmoud Barabadi, Majid Rasti, and Seyed Ali Kashfi Khansari were among those present at the first “Fasle Royesh” festival.
