Dear Fasle Royesh members, we have prepared a challenge that will take you through the labyrinth of memories.
The challenge is about lullabies and readings by grandmothers, who used to sing for us during different occasions, like the night of Yalda or during the Nowruz (Persian New Year) nights. They would whisper these songs in our ears, and we grew up with these melodies. Reminding us of these tunes brings back memories of the happy days of our childhood. This is also known as oral culture, and folk music is one of these oral traditions. Across the vast land of Iran, various ethnic groups with their beautiful cultures pass it down from generation to generation.
Here, we have selected a number of melodies for you. By noting the track numbers, you need to write to us and identify which region and ethnic group of our beloved Iran these pieces of music belong to.
Keep in mind that some of the indicators for recognizing this are related to the instruments, language, and musical dialects. We are waiting for your responses.
